from http://www.gancaycolaw.ph//files/articles/26_4.jpg As a human being, it is my responsibility to know my rights and as a Filipino I should be responsible in knowing most, if not all, of my rights under Philippine laws, statutes and codes. One of those rights that I should be familiar with is the Intellectual Property Code also known as R.A. 8293. The IP Code protects not only my creative ideas and interests but also those of others. This law was passed to ensure that creators will have the right to own, produce and reproduce their creations and at the same time penalize those who will use their creations without proper credit or payment. Sharing details and information about intellectual property and intellectual property rights is very important, especially now that everything can be shared online. There are several ways for me to support or help with the information dissemination of the Intellectual Property Code or R.A. 8293. One of those ways is by informing people t

In the first activity, knowledge management is an approach to capture an organization's intellectual assets. It is also the process by which human centered assets are managed. Examples of human centered assets are the knowledge owned by individuals. The knowledge they possess can and must be shared with others within the company especially if it has the potential or the capacity to be used  towards

As mentioned in the previous blog entry, strengths are current factors that are regarded as the reason why an organization exhibits an outstanding performance. Some examples of strengths are the availability and use of modern equipment and tools, consistent training and seminars for personnel, positive attitude of all people involved, a clear understanding among employees and their tasks and more. If an organization is unaware of their strengths they will be unable to keep track of what they can and cannot do.  So far, we have determined two strengths of the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation. First  is their credibility as an NGO. The foundation has weathered several changes in the course of its existence, but, they still remain as one of the most prominent NGOs here in the Philippines. Another one is visibility, with the extensiveness of the projects and programs they have implemented they have already reached numerous areas in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. They have established and
